People all throughout the world benefit from this day in terms of health, agriculture, food security and economic success. Food safety is essential for ensuring food safety at all stages of the food chain, from production to harvest, processing, storage and distribution, as well as preparation and consumption.
In order to avoid foodborne illness, food safety must be ensured at all stages of the food chain, from production to consumption. It's a scientific process for ensuring that food is safe to eat at all times, including whether it's being handled, prepared, or stored. Food safety is, at its most basic level, a shared responsibility of governments, producers and consumers. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring that the food we eat is safe to eat and will not cause any health problems, from manufacturing to consumption.
